With 20 years teaching experience and focusing on developing student oriented lesson. Passionate in teaching and performing cello,Canadian-Korean active cellist Hyemee Yang completed her Bachelor of music (BM) majoring in Cello Performance at Kyung Hee University (Seoul, South Korea, received Artist Diploma (AD) with Dean's full scholarship at The Glenn Gould School of Royal Conservatory of Music and obtained Summer Academy Diploma at Mozarteum University of Salzburg, Austria.

Hyemee was appointed as a principal cellist at The Royal Conservatory Orchestra and appeared in well-known music festivals such as Dortmund Music Festival in Germany, Stratford Music Festival, Brott Music Festival (Canada National Academy Orchestra) and Toronto International Music Festival where she received full scholarship.

Currently she is a cellist at the toronto Hwa-Eum trio with her sister, haejin yang and paskke string quartet and appearing on various orchestra such as Ontario philharmonic orchestra, the hart house orchestra from university of Toronto , The rose orchestra,Markham symphony orchestra, and North York concert orchestra .
Her students are participating in RCM exam certificates program and renowned music festivals and Art schools and independent schools such as Kiwanis music festival, north york music festival , CMC, and Toronto symphony youth orchestra, UTS, Cardinal Cater Art School, and Toronto French Schoool.
